Many activities will take place during the upcoming IPHS conference. It is still possible to register and pay for these activities during the conference. You can also reserve your spot by emailing email@example.com.
On Monday 18th July the Conference Reception will take place in Museum Rotterdam, located in OMA’s most recent building in Rotterdam, the Timmerhuis.
On Tuesday 19th July several half day tours are taking place. Willemijn Wilms-Floet will guide us through the courtyards of Delft, Het Nieuwe Instituut will open up the Dutch architecture archive, there’s a Vermeer excursion and it’s possible to experience the TU Delft campus in a tour led by PhD students.
On Wednesday 20th July there are still some spots left for a unique boat tour through Delft to the conference dinner.
On Thursday 21st July it is still possible to join a full day excursion to experience the rich history of Dutch planning. Paul Meurs will guide us through the Dutch Delta Works, Frits Palmboom will show us around the Ijsselmeer with special attention to the planning history of Van Eesteren, Paul van de Laar and Hilde Sennema will guide us through the old and new parts of Rotterdam, and Erik van der Kooij will guide an excursion to Amsterdam.
